If you are considering purchasing one of these Neutronic Ear hearing devices, here are a few interesting you should read first about Neutronic Ear (formerly called Crystal Ear)”:

Read the Warning Letter from the FDA about the Crystal Ear (aka. Neutronic Ear) FDA findings on how their manufacturing of the product does not comply with FDA Quality Systems regulations and other infractions.

Read the Better Business Bureau review of Neutronic Ear. At the time of this post, here are the complaints to the BBB about this company in the last 6 months:

Failure to honor refund, exchange or credit policies

Advertisement did not disclose all conditions required to take advantage of an offer.

Sales presentation did not disclose key conditions of the offer.

Failure to honor refund, exchange or credit policies.

Failure to honor money-back guarantees.

Failure to honor promised refunds, exchanges, or credit.

Product Quality Complaint Issue.

Here are two posts from doctors that say the Neutronic Ear is just a sound amplification device: Neutronic Ear – Dr. Hasan and Neutronic Ear – Dr. Thomas.

If you are interested in an affordable hearing aid that works, read my post about the MD Hearing Aid.

I just came across a possible item for those that need an affordable hearing aid. It’s called “MDHearingAid Acoustitone PRO Hearing Aid” and it produced by a company in Chicago. For less than $350, you can get a set of two hearing aids. It’s about $180 for one.

Now, I’ve always been cautious about these devices since many of them are cheap and basically a waste of money. If you search Amazon for some of these items, the reviews will tell you about the quality. What I found interesting about MD Heaing Aid is the outstanding reviews on Amazon(see MD Hearing Aid reviews). At the moment I’m writing this, the MD Hearing Aid has a 4.8 out of 5.0 star review. They are actually an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau too!

Also, just as my own personal disclaimer, I haven’t yet seen one of these products, nor have I talked to anyone who’s owned one or tried one. If you have an audiologist, you may want to ask him about these also. But, just based on the reviews and the online research I’ve done, the MDHearingAid Acoustitone PRO Hearing Aid
looks like it could be the affordable solution to hearing aids. To learn more, see the item on Amazon – MD Hearing Aid.

If you’ve purchase one of these hearing aids, let me know what you thought of it by replying to this post.

I hope this helps.
